Homebuyer/Homeownership Education
Home Buyer Classes "Realizing the American Dream" is designed for people who have thoughts of purchasing a home, or expect to buy in the future. A comprehensive approach to homeownership that offers training in all aspects of the home purchase and closing process. Includes bilingual group sessions, individual counseling, credit review, down-payment assistance and mortgage referrals. NHS partners with lenders to offer its graduates the most attractive, below market 1st mortgage products available.
NHS's free Homebuyer Education classes are offered in English and Spanish. NHS provides all the counseling, services, training customers need to purchase, rehabilitate, insure, and maintain a home.
This homebuyer course satisfies the home buyer education requirement for CHFA programs, People's Affordable Mortgage, the City's HOP loans and other first time buyer mortgage products.
8-Hour Class-Spanish
and English every other month.
For those interested in purchasing in the future.
Must attend the entire eight hour class.
