NHSNB Opens Resource Center to Support Rental /Utility Assistance Applicants

Neighborhood Housing Services of New Britain  has started a free Resource Center to help people apply for rental or utility assistance through Unite CT, Connecticut's COVID rental/utility relief program.

NHSNB is located in the heart of Little Poland at 223 Broad Street in New Britain.

" Our new Resource Center will make the application process smooth and easy. It's about both the human touch and access to technology. For people without computers or internet access, the Resource Center will provide this access," said Chris Sanders, NHSNB Executive Director. " In addition, " NHSNB trained staff are available to respond to customers and answer questions."

It may be summer but we need to think about Winter and NHSNB's 2021 Winter Drive! Home crafters are needed now to start making hats, scarves and mittens that we will distribute to New Britain families in need. See flyer for contact info.

NHSNB staff are also available via email or phone. Contact either Jenn Brennan at or Kassandrra Guzman at

Or call 860-224-2433 and ask for Jenn at extension 121 or Kassie at extension 109.
